The organization exists to unite the Latinx community by opening opportunities for community service, networking and fundraisers; improving academic standards; and fostering sororal relationships through friendship and mutual support between people or groups who share and exhibit the same interests as the organization while promoting a greater understanding of Latino/Hispanic traditions.

Hispanic-Latino Association 

The main focus of this organization is to unite students, graduate students and faculty/staff of Hispanic/Latino ethnic background and those who have an interest in Hispanic/Latino culture through activities that invoke cultural, social, educational, and political awareness, while creating a representative voice for the Hispanic/Latino campus community by identifying the issues of students on campus and addressing these needs to administration, so that students have an inclusive, positive, and engaging experience.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

The purpose of this organization is manifold. Primarily, SHPE-UA seeks to: increase the number of Hispanic engineering students at UA, improve the retention of Hispanic students enrolled in engineering and science at UA, promote diversity and encourage students from other ethnicities to join the chapter, develop and participate in programs with industry and the university which benefits students seeking technical degrees, help members improve their communication and leadership skills, and promote fellowship and communication between upper level students, incoming freshman, and transfer students.
