Membership in registered student organizations shall be open to all students of The University of Alabama without regard to race, religion, sex, ability, status, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sexual identity, or veteran status except in cases of designated fraternal organizations exempted by federal law from Title IX regulations concerning discrimination on the basis of sex.
The French Club meets regularly to speak French and engage in fun activities related to French language and Francophone civilization and culture. We provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to practice and improve their French, such as La Table Française, the Film Series, and other social events.
The purposes of this organization are to engage actively in Italian culture and heritage and to honor the impact Italian Americans have had on the State of Alabama and the South.
Russian Club of The University of Alabama
The Russian Club is designed to provide UA students with a forum to discuss the language, history, culture, politics, and current events of Russia. The club hosts meetings to develop language skills and familiarity with Russian culture through film viewings and preparation of traditional Russian cuisine.
The German Club
The German Club at UA is an affiliation of U.S. students interested in German culture and language and exchange students from German speaking countries. Membership in the club is open to all students interested in German language and culture.
